Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi

It’s a party… Yes a death party for viewers, party of great actors together in a mourning setting. Naseeruddin shah aka Ramprasad passes away on a Piano, and there after the movie begins.  Pankaj : Mamaji aap aa gaye?  Mamaji : hum toh sabse pehle aaye … Continue reading Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi

The Social Dilemma!?

Many people have asked me why I am not active on social media lately and this is the Truth. Truth and only but the truth.
It’s not that I don’t make Dalgona coffee or I don’t take selfies 🤳 with my partner but it’s what you keep sharing and craving for from social media – the acceptance, feeling of fake belonging, constant validition which we as normal human beings don’t need. The instant gratification and dopamine level drops are massive and it causes a huge mental and physical deficit.
I have personally uninstalled all social media apps from my devices long time before this documentry. Steve Jobs din’t allow his kids to use cell phone or “iPhone” and that’s a easy way to get smarter.
Absolutely loved the documentry “The Social Dilemma” even if it sounds like you’re gonna sleep 😴 through it but be sure it makes you aware of the monster 👾 we keep in our phones and near to hearts.
Imagine Mukesh Ambani on Social media that would be a disaster for him and still Facebook will do anything to buy a stake out of him.
Recently I have been thinking 💭 about numbers and number games on social media. Every YouTuber especially from India is asking or literally begging for likes and subscribes and shares, it doesn’t matter if the viewer likes the content or if there is organic growth but just numbers companies and organization love to play with that. They do this little experiment day in and out and make our lives vulnerable.
Have you ever wondered how what you search is suddenly been recommended on Facebook.
We are tracked all the time, our brains 🧠 are slowly hacked. The surveillance capitalism is amounting to skyrocketing levels of depression among children and teenagers. The flat-earthers and white supremacists; the genocide in Myanmar/Rohingya Muslims; the Covid misinformation; the imperilling of objective truth and social disintegration are all parties to disinformation and fake news.

Today is “World Suicide Prevention day” and the reports are shocking 🤯 there was a suicide every 4 minutes in India 🇮🇳 in 2019. That’s like by the time you complete reading this piece of writing there will be atleast 1 suicide. The world outside social media is great too. Social media / Mobile 📱 are the new age drugs that are by far more harmful than 59gms of mariguana found from Rhea Chakraborty.
If you understand this documentry it will be elementary to understand that news media also works in the same fashion so if you are tired with current India specific content in the news then you have to fight it out by Stop watching and giving in your view time. This has to be a collective effort like democracy and if the collectivism fails to choose tight the democracy chooses the wrong.

It’s rightly said :
~Block/Turn off all notifications.
~Never click on the recommendations either on YouTube or Instagram or anywhere, that’s a little fight we can offer.
~Always cross check /fact check and do the math/neuroscience behind it before uploading or forwarding.
~Delete any news app.
~Don’t take the phone to bed. (I am working on it too.)

Will not ask to share or like or follow. Do as you wish or think. Love, respect from fellow human Mayur Panchamia❣️
